A Sample of Successful Projects Bridge Construction

PCI entered the heavy structures industry in the late 1970s.  Today, PCI is a leader in building bridges in Iowa and beyond.

PCI led the $13M new bridge construction project carrying the Southwest Arterial over US Highway 20.  Watch a video of the nighttime placement of the steel arch.

PCI removed the old 80th Street overpass bridge and constructed two new bridge structures while maintaining US 30 traffic. PCI performed the grading and demolition work for this project prior to bridge construction.

As the General Contractor, PCI constructed a 7,800-linear ft-long soldier pile and lagging permanent shoring system with 2 to 3 rows of tiebacks.   PCI excavated the underpass and placed the bridge beams.

PCI was the General Contractor for the second-ever Iowa DOT lateral bridge slide project in Kalona, Iowa.  PCI completed the bridge construction in 10 days.  See video below, too.
